Four: a wrought iron six-light, a nine-light raindrop crystal, a five-light modern crystal on a black frame, and a six-light tiered farmhouse crystal.
Three do. The modern chandelier and the wall sconce light include their bulbs, and the LED fittings such as the vanity lights have integrated LEDs with nothing to buy. Everything else takes bulbs you choose yourself.
Because bulb choice changes a light fitting more than anything else you can do to it. A clear 2700K filament bulb and a frosted 4000K bulb in the same chandelier give you two different rooms.
They are screw fitting sizes. E14 is small screw, E26 is the large one, and E12 is a candelabra screw. Each product page states which one the fitting takes and how many it needs.
The bathroom vanity light and the black vanity light are built for bathroom air, and the black vanity light carries an IP44 rating. UK bathrooms are also divided into zones, so ask your electrician which zone your wall is in before fitting anything.
The outdoor range does: solar path lights, driveway lights, spotlights, firework lights and the weatherproof festoon strand. None of the indoor fittings carry a weather rating.
No. Every solar light in the range is self-contained: it charges by day and switches itself on at dusk.
The decorative ones are decorative. The garden lights are about 3 lumens each and the maker says plainly that it may not be bright enough to light by. If you need to see the ground, buy the pathway lights or a spotlight.
The plug-in wall sconce, yes. Everything else is hardwired on mains, and a bathroom fitting is regulated work in the UK. If mains wiring is not routine for you, use an electrician.
The usual guide is 75cm to 85cm from the table top to the bottom of the fitting. Over a kitchen island, a little higher.
Roughly half to two thirds of the table width. Our 50cm and 54.9cm fittings suit tables of about 90cm to 120cm; the 71cm one suits 110cm to 140cm.
Two thirds to three quarters of the mirror width. That is why the vanity light comes in 32cm, 65cm and 104.5cm.
Most are, with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Two are not: the modern wall sconce will flicker on a dimmer and the maker says so, and the black vanity light has no dimming specified.

Choosing equipment that actually gets used
Modern Light Company sells home lighting across the UK. This page is the short version of what we have learned selling it: the measurement that decides a purchase, why bulb choice matters more than most people expect, and where we will tell you a fitting is not the one you want.
Three layers, not one bright light
A single fitting in the middle of a ceiling gives you visibility and nothing else. Corners go dark, faces get shadowed from above, and the room has one setting. The fix is layers: something overhead for general light, something at a wall or a table for reading and working, and something aimed at what deserves attention.
Almost everything here belongs to one of those three, and the product pages say which. A flush mount is ambient. A swing arm sconce with its own dimmer is task light. A solar spotlight aimed up a tree is accent.
The measurement that decides the purchase
More lighting goes back for the wrong size than for poor quality, and it is nearly always one figure. The width of the table a chandelier hangs over. The width of the mirror a vanity bar goes above. The drop a chain gives you against your ceiling height. The length of a festoon run against the span you are crossing.
Two rules cover most of it. A chandelier looks right at roughly half to two thirds of the table width, hung 75cm to 85cm above the table top. A vanity bar wants to be two thirds to three quarters of the mirror width. Get those and the rest usually follows.
Bulbs change a fitting more than the fitting does
The same chandelier with a clear 2700K filament bulb and with a frosted 4000K bulb is two different objects. On open fittings such as the cage pendant and the clear glass sconce, the lamp is visible from every angle and is part of the design rather than hidden behind it.
So we state the fitting, the count and the maximum wattage on every page, and we say plainly whether the bulbs are in the box. Three products include them. Two have integrated LEDs with nothing to buy and nothing to replace. Everything else is your choice, which is the point.
What a rating promises, and what it does not
A 50,000 hour LED rating is a statement about a lamp, not a warranty on a light fitting. An IP44 rating means a fitting is built for bathroom air, not that it can be sprayed with a shower head. IP65 means dust tight and safe against water jets, and it still does not mean a light can sit in a puddle.
UK bathrooms are divided into zones, and what may be installed in each is regulated. We can tell you what rating a fitting carries. Which zone your wall is in is a question for the electrician doing the work.
Where we will talk you out of something
Our decorative solar garden lights produce about three lumens each. The manufacturer itself says that may not be bright enough, and we repeat it on the page, because somebody buying them to light a dark path will be disappointed and should buy the pathway lights instead.
Several fittings are listed by their suppliers as suitable for bathrooms while carrying no IP rating at all. We say to keep those out of a bathroom. That costs sales, and it is the right way round.
